The Occy stools centre on cruelty free innovation. This is accomplished by showcasing MIRUM. MIRUM is a plant based, plastic free vegan alternative to animal leather. Made from natural rubbers and plant oils, the material can be endless recycled. The manufacturing process requires no water, in contrast to the leather industry’s massive water waste production. MIRUM is part of the future of furniture.

The MIRUM element is positioned within an exterior  material frame made in collaboration with design and fabrication company: formd. The stools balance quality, creativity and sustainability.
